Precision Placements is recruiting on behalf of our client, a trusted accounting firm based in Overport, Durban. We’re looking for a meticulous Accounting Clerk with a solid understanding of client reporting and statutory compliance, particularly VAT and PAYE.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit monthly VAT, PAYE, and UIF returns on behalf of clients

- Reconcile client accounts and ensure accurate ledger entries

- Compile and maintain client financial records for monthly reporting

- Assist with payroll calculations and submissions

- Liaise with SARS and respond to queries when necessary

- Support accountants with audit preparation and general admin tasks

🔹 Requirements:

- Senior Certificate (Matric)

- Relevant accounting or finance qualification or studying towards relevant accounting qualification.

- Experience with VAT and PAYE submissions is essential

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

- Accuracy, discretion, and strong organizational skills
