A well-established hardware importing company is looking for a Junior Accountant to support its busy finance function. This role involves handling a wide range of accounting tasks and working closely with the Senior Accountant and Financial Manager to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting.
💼 Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing bank statements, petty cash transactions, and supplier accounts
- Maintaining daily cashflow and supplier aged analysis
- Preparing monthly management packs and VAT reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes including journal entries, recons, and asset register updates
- Liaising with external accountants, bookkeepers, and auditors for statutory compliance
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where precision, efficiency, and teamwork are key.
📌 Requirements:
- Completed BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks
- Proficiency with accounting systems and MS Excel
