As with all animal rescue services, the need for donations and sponsorships is ongoing—and Jackie’s Cats is no exception. 

Despite being a pensioner, Jackie dedicates every resource she has, along with generous donations, to care for animals in need. Her commitment is unwavering—she has never turned away an animal in need of food, sterilization, or veterinary care. 

In addition to rescuing and caring for animals, Jackie actively supports the sterilization and return of feral cats to their environments, helping to prevent overpopulation and the growth of cat colonies. 

She also plays a vital role in rehoming animals, conducting thorough checks to ensure that each one finds a safe, loving, and responsible forever home. 

On top of these essential services, Jackie bears the running costs of her vehicle, which is crucial for rescue operations. These costs include petrol, regular maintenance, and tyre replacements—expenses that add up but are vital to keep her mobile and able to respond swiftly to animals in need.
